Standup Paddle Tour – Explore Emerald Cut’s stunning clarity and color
Location: Kings Landing 5722 Baptist Camp Rd, Apopka, FL 32712
Due to a strong 2.5mph- 3.0 mph constant current, Emerald Cut Upper Rock Springs Run is not for first time paddlers, we allow moderate to advanced paddlers 15 and older. The scenery is amazing and the current is ripping! The good news is that there are several rest spots along the way. What’s important for this paddle is that you know how to paddle with your core and steer your board with bow turns and cross bow turns. 95% of our paddles are beginner friendly, this is not one of them. if you have questions, contact uncle at email@example.com before we begin we will give a crash course reminder on these skills.
Called Emerald Cut because there are sections that are truly emerald in color, truly amazing natural beauty that is well worth the effort to see it! The turn around and down stream run is super fun! There’s a small swimming hole with a rope swing for anybody who up for a tree climb and swing after the paddle! On the way upstream there are several rest spots, depending on the group’s needs we will utilize these sand bars to catch our breath and rest for a minute.
Must know how to swim 15 and older, exceptions with experience are made on an individual basis- write to Uncle and check, firstname.lastname@example.org
